Here is an interesting email that we received. A college student says he's been listening to U-Cure for almost a month,
and the results are minimal. Could it be that the U-Cure system isn't working for him?
Dear Nicky,
I'm only 5 days away from completing the cycle. Some sessions early on were shaky, but getting better. I've also fallen asleep during some of the
sessions. Is this normal? I end up waking up right at the end when you're told to open your eyes. I only realized that I fell asleep because it
seemed like only a few minutes had gone by.
Not noticing a lot of results, but I'm sleeping better and certainly feeling a difference right after each session. After the 21 days, I'll keep
going for a little longer, then probably just do sessions on weekends in the morning/early afternoon when I'm awake and able to stay that
way.
Perhaps I have come a long way from where I started. I used to be very jittery and anxious, but am getting a grip on that now.
Thanks,
Michael

(Our Response)
Dear Michael,
Congratulations on the progress you've made with U-Cure! That is wonderful that you're sleeping better at night. You mentioned feeling a
difference immediately after the U-Cure sessions, but otherwise not much of a difference. If that is the case, I encourage you to give it a
little more time. Just keep on listening until you feel like you've mastered the material, or perhaps outgrown it.
If you're getting a grip on jittery and anxious feelings, that certainly is a step in the right direction! Just take things one day at a
time.
You may not realize it now, but you are learning relaxation and breathing techniques that you can bring into open-eyed existance. For instance,
if you feel panicky before a test, take a moment to breathe deeply or even do a short progressive relaxation to calm yourself down. Maybe your
self-talk is changing too, and you can now talk to yourself in a positive, upbeat way. If you have to give a speech or presentation, you can
relax into it... and do so much better because you are calm and even-keeled.
Years ago, I listened to Kevin Trudeau's Mega Memory. I did not realize it at the time, but I used those techniques (mnemonic devices) all
through college, especially when I had to remember something that was boring or difficult. One time, I had to remember a long historical
sketch, and I remembered it in cartoon storytelling format... just like Trudeau suggests. It was crazy, but it worked! Also, Trudeau's
tapes presented a progressive relaxation session-- and I used that years later, when I got married and had a baby. I was able to give birth
naturally, without drugs, using natural relaxation to keep myself calm.
It's amazing to me, because Trudeau probably never intended his Mega Memory to be used like that-- it certainly wasn't one of his intended
outcomes. For me, that tape program was a building block to a healthier self-concept. It wasn't the do-and-end-all, but it was a good start.
What I'm saying is that you may "grow" into the material, and later find ways to make it a part of your life and coping strategy.... in ways you
aren't aware of now.
Thanks again for writing, Michael. Stay in touch and let us know how you're doing. You can always write if you have questions, or would like
to share an insight.
All the best,
