Finally, I found an optomotrist who diagnosed my condition as "diplopia." In other words, double vision caused by stress!

What is entrainment?

In 1656, a Dutch physicist named Christian Huygens patented the first pendulum clock. Fascinated by this technology, Mr. Huygens decorated his house with pendulum clocks. This led him to make an unusual discovery.

At the beginning of the day, Mr. Huygens set his clocks swinging at different speeds. Within nine minutes, the clocks slowly synchronized with one another. They swung back and forth in a steady, uninterupted, mutual rhythm. The clocks actaully shared the same beat and concurrent motion.

Ok, that's fine for clocks...
but what about people?

The same principle that applies to pendulum clocks applies to the human brain. Like a pendulum clock, the human brain has the ability to entrain.

That's because entrainment is a matter of basic physics. Entrainment is a commonly accepted principle that appears in chemistry, biology, medicine, and astronomy.... and it also occurs with the human brain.

How entrainment works with U-Cure

When you listen to U-Cure, your brain is presented with a rhythmic stimulus. The rhythm that you hear actually stimulates the brain. As a result, your neurons will start to fire a response and vibrate at the same frequency. Your brainwaves entrain (or synchronize) to the rhythm of the sound.

This phenomenon is called Frequency Following Response (FFR.) Some people jokingly refer to FFR as "monkey see, monkey do."

You see, brainwave frequencies are associated with various mental states. A 3 - 8 Hz brainwave, for example, is associated with increased memory, focus and concentration . Likewise, a  5 - 10 Hz brainwave frequency is associated with relaxation and calmness. Using brainwave entrainment, you can coax your brainwaves into a certain frequency, and in doing so, achieve the mental state associated with that frequency.

With repeated listening, you will be conditioned to these higher mental states. In other words, the habit of activating your increased memory, focus and concentration will come automatically. When you're reading a book or writing a report, it will be easier to focus and concentrate-- and you will experience a higher level of focus and concentration than you did before using U-Cure.
